Vancouver

Fall
Fall season is here, although the weather is not really cold as yet, so far about 4C min.
Small traces of snow can be seen in the North Shore Mountains. In different part of Canada snow fall is already in order.
But the trees can certainly feel the change in the temperature, as shown in the leaves colour.
I like these Maple tree leaves on the photo that change to fiery bright red colour to welcome the Fall season.
Some fruits are hanging tough and still hanging around not to drop from it's trees.
Like these Blackberrys are still waiting for the birds or human to consume them. This reminded me, that "Blackberry" is a name given by "Research in Motion" for its smartphone, a Canadian Company from Waterloo, Ont.

Port of Vancouver
Busy time at the Port of Vancouver: 3 cruise ships were at the port, a 2600 passenger cruise ship "Diamond Princess", a 2500 passenger cruise ship "Serenade of the Seas", and the 1800 passenger cruise ship "Zuiderdam" were readied to go for trips to Alaska, Washington and California. Also noisy seaplanes "Westcoast Air" and "Harbour Air" came and gone to Victoria and Nanaimo.

Space Shuttle Mission STS 127
The recent Space Shuttle Mission STS-127, that successfully completed the construction of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo Laboratory.
