Space Shuttle Mission STS 127



The recent Space Shuttle Mission STS-127, that successfully completed the construction of Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo Laboratory. Bike Lane


Hundred of cyclists took advantage of the 3 month trial "bike lane" only on Burrard Bridge in Vancouver. But rush hour motorists were furious because of the extra traffic congestion caused by the bike lane.

Airplane Photography


Taking airplane photography is quite tricky. You need some foreground object, whilst the plane at the speed of 300 km/hr is in clear full view. Shown on photo is a Japan Air Lines JAL is ready for landing at YVR Vancouver airport.

Nature Park


I took my dog for a walk to Burnaby Lake Nature Park. I forgot that dog was not allowed. It was O.K. to go to an elevated viewing platform nearby. Photo shown some birdwatchers are at ground level.

Port Mann Bridge


Top: North Span

Bottom: (South Span) I went for a drive to Maquabeak Park and saw some activities at Fraser River. They already started working to build the new 10 lane bridge to replace the existing 45 year old Port Mann bridge. Evidently the new bridge will cost $3.3B and is set to open in 2013.
